Boy, look how the time does fly by. I even forgot I had started a blog in July...it just sort of popped up. At the time, it was just mine, but now I'm sharing with hubby. He gets cranky when he's left out. I guess I better add him to the profile--aw what the heck--maybe later.
I am writing this in the first person because I will be the one doing this. HE will be adding rude comments now and then.

Some interesting, some boring facts about me everyone is dying to know:
*I have been married for 42 years (almost 43).
*I just starting quilting about 5 years ago.
*I am an avid reader and love Christian novels. Also, I really dig mysteries.
*I often think about the perfect crime and how I would execute it, but I would never do it because a) I'm a Christian and b) I watch too many crime shows and know only what not to do because they always catch their man (or woman).
*I am the mother of two adult sons. My first son was born 9months and 3 weeks after we said our "I do's". Our second came along 2 and a half years later.
*I have (or had) 3 older brothers and no sisters but always wished for one.
*After all these males in my life, I was finally given my wish. I wished for a granddaughter. I guess I wished real hard because I now have SIX of them and no grandsons.
*I promised each of my "girls" that I would make them a quilt. It took all 5 years to do it because of various reasons, but the sixth is almost finished. Just need to sew the binding on.
*I still am not very good at making quilts but I'm having fun.
